Maybe a Wolftooth Roadlink? Specifically designed to increase the range of Shimano derailleurs. I just put one on my Ritchey so I could use a short-cage 7800 RD with a 12-30 cassette. I haven't tried it with a Sante RD - I just stick with 13-26 and a double in front.
Fromt what I understand about the Wolftooth, I thought it just increases the maximum cog, not the capacity of the drivetrain as well.
