i ride brakeless with eggbeaters, know others who do the same, and i haven't had any problems... i'm big (230ish), skid, skip and all that jazz. today in fact i had to decelerate asap and was pulling back hard enough to skid the rear wheel. i still had a colission, but whatever...
point is, i have 100% confidence in my eggbeaters. had about 50% with spd's. wouldn't go there again
