Part of our tour this year will take us from Thompson Fall MT to Pinehurst ID. After Eagle it appears there are roads on both sides of the Coeur d’Alene river. Is the Old River road mostly paved and preferred to bike? Are either of the campgrounds at Eagle or Cedar still open and have drinking water? I have tried to contact Eagle but no response. Thanks!
