Despite all the weird and goofy fodder I'd had or tried, I can't really think of a 'worst' ride! I can think of a seat that was on an old Homegrown hardtail mtb that I had. Back in college I road to a friends house, which was probably about 15 miles away, and then back. My rear hurt for days. It was a red Fizik saddle - never again!!!!

Of modern bikes, the Trek 560 Pro Series I had was a very stiff ride for a steel frame, but not a bad ride per se. A couple of Peugeots (higher end) seemed like complete slugs, and even after wheel swaps seemed like riding through molasses. Therefore, my measure of a 'nice riding' bike is pretty simple - does it feel quick when spinning up? If so, we're probably going to have a nice ride
