Yeah LAB71 pricing is ridiculous. The pro teams didn’t even get them. I don’t think Hi-Mod is worth the extra cost either, but looks like you don’t get a choice on a frameset purchase. But it means you get a very nice top tier frame by default rather than having to make an irrational decision to buy it over the perfectly adequate standard frame 😂
How about a Look frameset as someone suggested earlier? Classy and well suited to a frame-up build.
Look 795 Blade 2 RS is cool. I actually saw one at my LBS. But it is 25% more expensive than SuperSix Hi-Mod. On the other hand, it's cost almost the same as Factor here, but while Factor comes with a Black Inc integrated cockpit, Look gives separated one. Don't know which one is better, but current trend drags me to integrated one. Not to mention I think Factor does better paintjob. That being said, it will not be my top choice.
