there is no need to re-torque if you are putting an aluminum seatpost or aluminum anything into a carbon hole, because the aluminum is not going to compress. Now if you are putting a carbon seatpost or stem into a metal hole, then chances are you’ll have to retighten once or twice. Maybe because you were gingerly the first time around.
