I'm not going to waste my time debating some nebulous, hypothetical "something much more specific...." statement.

If you truly have a theory, you'd also be able to explain how it works. So, I'll stand by my explanation and leave you to yours.

However, I do agree that an arbitrary red line barely makes sense. Though, I'm not surprised that makers go this route rather than leave things to user judgement, given that the woods are full of lawyers waiting to pounce.
