There's a small chance that the dream of Cino may keep it going. As I said, I needed the breaks, and I'm not about to sink $85 into buying a new set just so I can keep this thing complete, but it occurred to me today that a set of Weinmann center pulls, which show up among vintage bikes like weeds in a garden, would work just about as well on the Huffy. I think I've got a couple of sets under the work bench. Maybe between now and September I can get around to figuring out proper shims and such to solve the other problems with this thing.

No promises, but I am entertaining the idea.
