i have a couple pairs of eggbeater ss, single ti, candy sl's... blah blah blah i love them all. i have them on all my road, track, cyclocross, and moutain bikes. i find my cleats do touch the ground, especially as my humble specialized shoes wear down from commuting and especially mountain biking. the only time i unclip is when my cleats are super worn. i find i have to replace my cleats once a year. i don't mind one bit though because of how much i love them.

the only other pedal i would consider would be atac.
