11 speed options
11 speed Campagnolo and 11 speed Shimano cassettes have the same spacing between cogs. (10 speed spacing didn't match up between the two brands.) Shimano had more 11 speed cassette options, years ago, when Campagnolo stopped at 29 teeth. I think Campagnolo has more cassette choices now? Note that cassettes have different splines, so a Shimano won't fit on a Campy hub, or vise versa.
I have a Campagnolo Athena triple 11-speed, with Chorus (I think?) shifters and now a rear wheel with a Shimano freehub. The Shimano 11-34 works great with my Athena long cage rear derailleur.
I was quite disappointed with the Athena shifters performance, and upgraded the shifter body when the Athena failed.
10 speed maintenance
10 speed Campagnolo (at least in Veloce, which I had for years) needed regular replacements of the $5 "G spring", which wore out quickly. There used to be 10 speed shifter parts readily available, but I'm guessing these are hard to find now? The disassembly and reassembly was a fairly difficult, interesting puzzle. Youtube videos helped. I got pretty good at it after the second G spring and carrier replacement!
