The fork is steel. Not certain if it is original to the bike, but the seller assumes it is. I might have to send it out to be chromed!

Here's a pic of another on I found that shows a rack boss on the fork. Mine doesn't have one. No guarantee this bike has the original fork either.

Also, the horizontal top tube has me puzzled.
