It just relies on a bit of friction damping. Obviously going to be less controlled than the one with hydraulic damping. I think the original FS was undamped too and got very mixed reviews.
took it down some steep inclines with broken pavement. No bottoming out. Not jarring. Easy to control. Comes with 2 extra spring tensions and a bunch of hardware. Not sure what I’m missing out on v hydraulic. Maybe smoother longer lasting.
