yes, i have. i rode eggbeaters for a year until the right pedal fell apart. now i typically ride atacs. i fail to see how you could ever get a two sided pedal stuck perpendicular to the ground so as to be unable to flip it to one or the other sides. i have also used speedplay, most varieties, and generic spd pedals. i have never encountered a situation where i thought "dang, i wish i had two more sides!"
