Well....just a depressing update. Going into July now and I still am not back to speed. The second TKR continues to be a problem, just won't flex much past 90 degrees normally and takes a while to get it going on the bike rides. I wound up moving all the saddles up 1/4 - 1/2 inch just so I can pedal without much pain. Legs feel underpowered and like they are just learning to cycle again. Cadence is well under my norm and I slow down badly when the road turns up the least bit. I haven't ridden since Sunday as I came down with the worse cold I've had in year. Totally miserable most of the week. Felt fairly normal yesterday but I still rested up. Today I struggled with which bike to take out but finally decided on the Colnago CT1. I was hoping the legs would be fresh and on this bike maybe I could pull off a 19 mph ride. Nope, not even close. It was cool and mostly calm today. Decent pace early on closing in on a 20 mph avg despite having to slow several times for other cyclist in the way. But halfway into the ride when I hit the uphill sections I just had no power to keep the pace up. Turned around at only a 17.9 mph avg and got it back to 18.3 at the finish. Just pathetic.
The good news is starting July 4th I'll be off for 25 days and plan to mainly spend my time riding and losing weight. Hopefully I'll be able to find some of my old speed again.
On top of the bikes mentioned a few posts above, these are more new to me bikes I need to get into the 19 mph club
Colnago CT!

Pegoretti Duede - At the LBS being built
Hopefully soon I can start updating this a lot as I get back and going properly.
