my old mitzutani had 19mm sew ups(tubulars) on it... try those at 120 lb. pressure some time...
you learn to seek out routes with fresher pavement.

the '82 Trek 930R has 23mm clinchers now, but began life with sew ups at 19mm width...... the switch was night and day.
i run 85lbs. in the clinchers.
