If you still think “motor” only refers to “electric motors” then you are being stubbornly ignorant at this point. Do you have a dictionary? If so look up the word “motor” and you will see why we have words like motorcar and motorcycle etc.

If “motor” was exclusively electric then the term “electric motor” would be redundant.
