Here is a photo of a Gravelking Slick 32c, and on the label it says "350g". Panaracer's website says this tire is 290g.
And here is a photo of a Gravelking Slick 35c, and on the label is says "310g". The website also says 310g.
Neither of these tyres are the "Plus version". They are both the standard version. So how can the 32 weigh more than the 35 when it's the same tire otherwise??
I realize that the real world weights are probably different if you throw these tires on the scale, but that's not the point. The question is, why on earth is Panaracer's official weight spec on the label for the 32c tire, 40 grams heavier than the 35c version of the same tire??
Are the tanwall sidewalls beefed up compared to the black ones or something? On their website they use the same specs chart for both colors of tire....
Are there different generations of this tire and they changed the weight from one gen to the next or something? Am I looking at 2 different generations and that's why the packaging is blue on one and purple on the other??
To make matters even more confusing, biketiresdirect shows a 30c version of this tire, not on Panaracer's website, and the weight is 320, ten grams heavier than the 35c. What is going on?
