Another vote for bigger is better, with ever lower pressures the larger tire you use. Clearance matters, yada yada yada. Big difference to me from 25 to 28, and a smaller-big difference from 28 to 30. Huge-Bigly difference from 25mm to 32mm. I run 32mm front, 30mm back on my Serotta CSI (maxed out due to clearance), and love it. I'd run larger if I could. Liked it so much that I went out of my way to scrounge up a front fork that fits 32mm tires for my Legend ST. About 60-65 PSI for all. Gravity is stronger wherever I ride, so I tip the scales at 200 lbs.
