I've watched the channel you mentioned but I found the GRX mod elsewhere. I was somewhat interested in the microshift sword, but alas no hydraulic brakes.
Yeah that 17-100 with a close cassette and perhaps a triple would be nice. In fact a triple with 12-speed and hydro levers would be the dream.
Its been a long time since I've read about the now old and not made anymore 10 spd Tiagra stuff. I just remember when Tiagra went to 10 from 9 and I recall that the triple 50/39/30 had the new bcd that limits the granny to a 30, and I'm nearly 100% certain that the sti's had a funny cable pull, again I think it was like a 11 spd sti.....but kind of a moot point given how things have moved on now.
