I have the same problem . My solution is a helmet with no top holes. I have this BBB Tithon:

The fit is on the small side.
Another choice would be the Kask Infinity- it has a sliding panel on top which exposes forward poinintg holes:

Bolle The One has removeable panels covering the top holes:


Abus YADD-1 and Lazer Urbanize are other choices. I made this list a few years ago so maybe some of these helmets no longer available or have since changed designs.

Yet another solution, if the holes are narrow or small enough, is to stuff cushion foam into the openings to block them.
