I virtually penciled in the Classic Rendezvous West weekend of October 19. It is only 2 more hours of driving each way for me. There will be vintage bicycle enthusiasts, a swap meet, a show, centered at the USA Bicycling Hall Of Fame https://usbhof.org and there will be vintage rides. All that is missing IMO, is a challenging, century length, mixed surface, ride with multiple significant climbs totaling 5-10,000 ft. Somebody familiar with the area can surely cobble together a Paris Roubaix type course (maybe two: 67mi. and 100mi. +/-).
