IIRC, you can buy a shower there. There is also a place to eat. Staying there does cut down on the climbing the next day. IIRC, it’s only about 2,000’ up to the pass.
There are a limited number of hiker/biker sites there for $8. Reservations NOT required for Rising Sun hiker/ biker sites.
