It was taken out of cross Mersey service in the early 1990s and was sold to a consortium and who planned to turn it into a floating nightclub and restaurant but this never happened. It went to Cardiff in South Wales where it was hoped it could be a club/restaurant in the docks there but the council refused permission, and in 2002 it was towed to here in Woolwich London in the hope of getting a refit and mooring as nightclub and restaurant here. This never happened and sadly it's just been rotting away here since.
