Hi - long time tandem rider here (almost 30 years now) , but not much of a poster to this forum, sorry. After years of using both Thule and Yakima racks, and not liking at all....finallly got a 1 up tandem tray. SO MUCH EASIER. leave the wheels on. If you have a car that is an SUV or Crossover, that's taller than let's say a Honda Fit or a VW wagon, it's worth buying 2 small step stools so that you and your partner can easily get the bike on and off. It does require 2 people, but so did the Yakima and Thule (in theory with all of them, yes you can do yourself, but easier with 2). Also, if anyone wants a free Yakima rack, except for the shipping cost....LMK. But save yourself some frustration, and just get the one up (i can't post a photo, prob becuase not much of a poster, sorry)
