I’d get another opinion on the hip. My dad landed on his hip. Doc said it’s not broke. It’ll be fine. Ya, it hurts. Months and months later—second opinion—ya it’s broke and was not healing and the bone is decaying — you now need a new one.

I got nothin on coming back from crashes. I’d luv to race again but I’m not putting my wife through whatever sh## might happen when some old guy acts like a young Cavendish and brings down a bunch of 60+.

in theory, if you are really really strong, you will be harder to break. So, while you are figuring this out, squat, press, and deadlift. It can’t hurt.
