Looking at Co-motion, looking at Calfee. Are there any other brands I should be looking at? We're not too far from Tandems East and we got the T2 there so might be talking to Mel too.

Not an e-bike.

Thanks in advance,

We have a Cannondale tandem, and have managed to reduce the weight of it considerably. Changed tyres to lighter folding versions changed to TPU tubes. Fitted a lightweight handlebar stem and light weight carbon handle bars front and rear, a carbon fiber seat post and carbon fiber saddle. It came with Rolf tandem wheels and Gates belt drive. So not much weight saving there but worth thinking about. Oh and I replaced the bottle cages for Carbon fiber as the ones it came with would eject bottles over rough roads.
Also to help with the hills we went to a 11 36 cassette.
