I removed the connector link along with two more links and now chain is perfect. Finished tweaking the rear derailleur, adjusted the saddle height and took it out for a test ride. The handle stem is a little higher that the original setup so, a little more upright position. Didn’t notice any discomfort with the non padded saddle (was not wearing padded shorts). Plan on a short training ride tomorrow. Project weightt- 10.8kg, a bit lighter than I thought (double kickstand, seatpost wheel, pignose bracket, longer handle stem, 8spd to 11spd cassette), extras that offset all the carbon components.
