We visited some of the islands in 2017. They're definitely worth the visit.

- Orcas has Moran State Park with a hiker/biker site. If you aren't averse to climbing, the ride up Mt. Constitution is worth the effort. This island had more traffic and no shoulders.
- San Juan has a hiker/biker site at the county park. Great riding on this island from what I remember.
- Lopez also has a hiker/biker site at the state park. This island felt most rural. Riding was pretty mellow with little traffic. There's a bakery called Holly B.'s that if still open is worth a visit.
