Yes! You have simply lost the strength and use of the muscles that stabilize -balance your movements. Definitely practice standing on one foot and Tai Chi would help in many ways. Another thing you might try is simple balancing exercises on the bike like track standing and very slow, slower than walking, balanced riding around in tight places. Any form of Yoga would also be greatly beneficial. Rage, rage, against the dying of the light! Best wishes.
