Don't spend $70 on something that might work well, might sort of work, or might end up being trash.
If you want a Wabi (or a Langster, or MASH Work... name your dream bike), just save up a little more money and buy it. You likely will not be happy with the stepping stone next-best-thing bike.
Life is too short to settle for second rate bikes. I say that because bikes are really not that expensive. If you have always dreamed of owning a Porsche 911 but they're way out of your reach, maybe you buy a 912 in need of some restoration, or a used Boxster, something like that. Because the difference is $80-100k+ vs. maybe $20k. With bikes, you're talking about a few hundred bucks difference. Buy the one you really want.
