When I used to ride in the wet I once was going to take my regular route back home which included a gravel road through the pines. A guy in a four wheeler stopped me right before I turned onto the road. He said it was real wet and the chert (flint) would most likely slice up my tires before I got far in. Noting this I took another paved route and still sliced a tier on what I dont even know.

I miss being able to ride in the wet but it did have its draw backs...
