Just make sure you have the same length (or longer) of post inserted into the frame as the minimum insertion mark showed before you cut the post. E.g., if the minimum insertion line was 60mm from the bottom of the post before you cut it, make sure you have at least 60mm of post inserted into the frame after you cut it.
