have a 95 Obed (pictured above) - got it around a year ago from a guy in his 80’s who was in outstanding shape but decided to step away from cycling (reluctantly with persuasion from his family)

he barely used the bike - he was much more into road riding

also have a 96 Obed FS that I purchased as a frame from Colorado Cyclist BITD - paired it with a Judy SL (with long travel kit) and XTR 950 components (with XT crank)

thought about installing a rigid fork on the Obed - also have a Judy SL … ? … have a 170 mm XT M737 crank to replace the 175 mm LX crank (they spec’d a 175 mm crank on a small bike )
