They are fantastic bikes. I rarely pay top dollars for a vintage bike but if I found an earlier Alpina Pro from when they had lugged frame and lugged forks, I would find it hard to let it go.

How much did you pay for it?

Could you post the seat tube, top tube, and chainstay measurements? I don't like the rear brake configuration on the bottom for mountain bikes but for loaded touring it works better than the top mounted ones.
