Yes. I'd opt to not have "bicycle" painted lines & just have 4' feet of paved well kept shoulders on the side of the curb lane with signage stating the motorized traffic to give way to cyclists & pedestrians... lol like that'll ever happen.. my effort to have that supported wasn't fruitful.
