IME slime does not work for bike tubes and just creates a huge mess. (have used auto slime for slow leaks in car tires and it has worked there)

I have used sealant in with tubes and tubular...... not tubeless as i haven't done tubeless so far (have learned to never say never)

Started with tufo tubular and tufo sealant..... worked ok, but the tufo sealant drys out in it's bottle super fast

I have used multiple brands of sealant and have gotten best results with Effrotto Mariposa Cafe latex.

that said for me sealant has worked best with lower tire pressures and small punctures.

running 28 at 110 or more generally results in a spray of latex, messing up the bike frame and all around

running 32 at 80 sealant fixed a number of small leaks, but pressure was too much still for larger leaks....sealant really does not have time to work

My approach now, especially with tubular is to carry 30ml of sealant and put that in if I flat and then very slowly (pretty easy if you are using a mini pump) bring up the pressure to allow the sealant time to work

ymmv
