Guys,

I'm happy to report that this generation (the DiNucci gen) of Allez models can quite possibly take 700x33s! Which, given its day (90s) is highly unusual I suppose.

The rear: absolutely no problem. They fit perfect, with even a tad bit of room to spare.

The front: It fits, the fit is tighter, but it does clear that front fork (cromo unicrown version) w/ about 2mm to spare in the front. However, the brake (Shimano 600) is where it was getting a little hung up. With some experimentation, it may be possible to find a brake set that allows it to clear. I can't tell what what the experience is with the alloy fork.

The good news here is if you were married to this frameset, but wanted to use 33s, you could. And if the front fork was an issue, you could in theory replace the front fork.

EDIT: Tire I was testing with was a Jack Brown 700c x 33.
