I would roughly calculate that harvesting a hanger, prepping the 2 for brazing and clean up afterward (mostly file work) would take me somewhere close to 3 hours. So you might want to think if that expense is worth it. Ordinarily no - except when the frame has sentimental value and in which case it is well worth it.
