Let's not beat up on Dave too much here. I actually bought a set of 105 pedals on eBay that turned out to be fake. But I'll say, they're great fakes! They work really well. I also bought a set of 105 pedals from the same Trek shop. They also discounted them to $70! I'd just be really shocked if they unloaded a set of fake DA pedals on me. The sale gals also explained that Trek has a policy to discount everything, except bikes, by a minimum 40% if they don't move in a certain time frame. I'm in a few businesses and own an upscale women's apparel store, so I understand the reasoning behind that sales approach. At least as far as clothing is concerned, but not so much on bike parts. My Trek store is selling off their DA R9250 for about $300 right now.
