I'd suggest that rather than comparing to the old BB, that you measure the chainline. That's the specification that actually matters. It doesn't matter what it was before, and it doesn't matter what it looks like - actually measure it. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it should be 43.5mm.
