I wonder if that is just blue Dawn in a different bottle? We buy it in gallons for washing hands in the shop after working on the trucks. With a little brush I find it works better than the stuff marketed towards mechanics. I would never have thought to wash parts with it LOL The only thing better than the dawn for hands is tire soap we used for mounting heavy truck tires.
still recall tire mounting lube / soap was a great hand cleaner - and great moisturizer also
( still have the big tire irons we used to mount truck and tractor tires )
use Dawn detergent for a number of things - and good pre-soak for shirt stains etc
and after boring / honing a cylinder - always wash in Dawn detergent
