The pedals might be an issue; you might want to look for a narrower platform pedal.
That said, 650b x 42 is sort of the gold medal standard for a 650b conversion; a 38 is also good.
Great article. Thanks. The pedals I tried out are the largest and longest I have just to see the worse case scenario. I have lots of other options if they are an issue. According to the article, I'm right at the ideal BB height at 267mm. If I'm taking a corner fast enough to lean that much, I'm hanging on for dear life, not pedaling to go faster! But I have been hopping over a few roots and rocks lately on my local trails and wouldn't want to add pedal clearance to the list of current considerations.
