3 Gatorskins are less likely to flat than most other fairly light tires, or so I am told.
4. What size tires are you using, and what pressure are you running? You may want to see if Schwalbe has tires in your size; They make some pretty tough tires

I bought an electronic gauge to hopefully know the tire pressure better but it seems to let the air out in a problem way; I need to get an analog gauge so I'm not estimating or pumping up tires fully without knowing the exact numbers.
On changing out the innertube on the road, just beyond my skills usually. It takes over a half hour back at my apartment to change it, seating the innertube properly not getting it pinched, is challenging. I've biked thousands of miles years ago and very rarely got flats. I'm using standard gumwall Kendra tires that I got with the bike.
