Concur with both above sentiments. WRT rsbob’s comment about kids speeding on electric bikes…it’s an issue in my residential neighborhood too. Sometimes three grade school aged kids piled onto one electric bike flying down the street at 35mph-ish. Swimsuits only. No shirt, shoes, helmets, etc. And frequently dodging oncoming cars. (This problem isn’t limited to electric bikes. A few households in the neighborhood have also given their young kids access to golf cars (going just as fast). But regarding reasons why it can’t be done…I can hear one of my old Chiefs from my Navy career saying “Tell me how it CAN be done. Not why it CAN’T be.” — Dan
