Im enjoying my Pake as it isn't flashy and that its been my do all bike. Great construction and really twitchy comes in handy when avoiding drama. I did my first century on my Pake and was comfortable while doing so.
Just FYI this thread is from 2007 and it is pretty safe to say all those who were involved are long gone. While this sub-forum has gotten a lot slower these days and new blood is great, responding to thread that is almost now a legal adult but hasn't been active in almost that many years to people who aren't active either isn't so much.

I think Soma/Merry Sales still has one Pake frame and some parts available branded Pake I think the brand is mostly gone. A lot of fixed gear stuff has gone because it is deemed less popular but those in the know still have them and ride them and you can still get some awesome bikes.
