John N: I wouldn't be so worried about falling, but not having the ability to stop terrifies me. If those cars in the video did not stop, he could only try to ride in circles. But encounter a red traffic light or an open bridge and you're done for. Perhaps some lever operated kickstand would be a good addition, ideally a wide one so it's stable enough to climb down
