Bought a new Sram x4 derailleur, new derailleur hanger, new chain, new cassette, new gear cable new cable housing and new 9 speed gear shifter and still wont pass 3rd gear. Iv spent 3 days trying to tune this thing.
What could be the issue?
You note new derailer hanger, but did you align it? New hangers are not always aligned
also try doing the first tightening of the cable with chain on second rear cog, not smallest. That is how I have done it and seen a lot of instructions to that effect. and there is always the park video
