What crank arm are you fitting to the bottom bracket? Prior to the mid-80s, Campagnolo BB spindles were asymmetrical, and various CPSC requirements and cup styles made determining what would work fairly complex. In 1983, Campagnolo USA published an article explaining what works with what with the various asymmetrical spindles and cup variants:
