I am resisting, but I have the illness too. That long wheelbase with the Reynolds 531 sure looks interesting.
The Miyata is 2cm taller than this Trek. It fit well when I was a bit younger and more "athletic", but I'm hoping the Trek is a tad tamer with 650Bs, knobbily tires and a longer wheelbase.

Plus, the Miyata is set up with mustache bars and I'm keeping this one with drops.

And I had a Trek from this era, faded denim blue with a navy head tube IIRC. Never should have let it go.

So when I saw this one pop up, I couldn't resist at least checking it out. When I heard the story of the original owner, I was hooked.

I needed a project and it cost less than an oil change in the Porsche(s).

And that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
