"Restore" means a lot of different things to a lot of different people.

Getting it ridable with whatever parts.
Getting it ridable with period parts
Getting it ridable with correct period parts
Getting it restored to catalog spec.
Repainting and getting NOS catalog spec parts
Setting it up with modern parts

And everything in-between and beyond.

What are you interested in doing with your bike?

Before you go all crazy- the 1984 and later World Sports are good bikes with good frames and are a decent platform for building up... HOWEVER, they're not the most valuable- so it'll be really easy to get all upside-down financially. IMO- this is a great bike to start on- it's not rare, it's not expensive- but it rides nice and the parts aren't rare or expensive- and a lot of older AND newer stuff will work on it- so it's perfect for learning on.
